The Miner's Cottage

Wonderful and quixotic, the Miner's Cottage is on Shakerag Street a short walk from our brewery & hotel.

This stone cottage is owned and maintained by the Wisconsin Historical Society, and has been lived in continuously since it was built, around 1836.

The Miner's Cottage features loads of charm, a mural in the bathroom by renowned artist Ava Ferneke, two electric fireplaces (for decoration, not heat), a kitchen, living area with two wingback chairs and a pull-out sofa, separate bedroom, and a private bathroom.
